Dollar Tree Distribution Center in Cowpens, SC is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot, and repair conveyors, building systems, and electrical controls. You will diagnose issues, document activities, and maintain a safe, organized work environment on a rotating shift.

The role requires electronic-technology coursework or an associate degree with 2+ years in maintenance or 3+ years in related electronics maintenance.

Qualifications

• Coursework or certification in electronic technology and 2 years industrial maintenance experience specializing in electronic technology.
• 3 years industrial maintenance experience in electronic tech (including troubleshooting and repairing automated equipment).
• PLC/PC programming knowledge and troubleshooting experience.
• Hands-on electrical experience: 480V 3-phase, 110 VAC, 24 VDC.
• Ability to communicate technical issues clearly to leadership.
• Willingness to work shifts, overtime, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and emergency repairs on equipment including lift trucks, dock equipment and electrical systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair complex electrical/electronic problems with PLCs, servo drives, and I/O devices.
• Diagnose problems using drawings and diagnostic tools.
• Maintain organized work area and promote safety.
• Complete work orders and document activities.
• Communicate issues to associates and suppliers to minimize downtime.
