Job summary

G&W Electric Co. is seeking a Team Leader Maintenance for the C Shift (6:00pm–6:00am) in Bolingbrook, IL. You will lead a maintenance team responsible for production maintenance, preventive tasks, and project involvement to improve processes.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years’ experience in industrial maintenance with mechanical and electrical/electronic equipment.
• Ability to work under pressure and complete tasks in stressful or emergency situations.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to lead and coordinate a diverse team with demanding schedules.
• Ability to read and interpret complex drawings and schematics.
• Intermediate computer skills in MS Word and Excel.
• Demonstrated problem solving using corrective and preventive actions.

Responsibilities

• Lead a Maintenance Team in daily tasks, projects, work orders and preventive maintenance.
• Provide hands-on leadership and communicate daily goals and assignments.
• Assist with supervisory tasks and performance evaluations with support of area supervisor.
• Perform or assign preventive maintenance and work orders as directed.
• Conduct safety sweeps and employee training as required.
• Ensure safety of team and those affected by maintenance activity.
• Manage spare parts, tools, and equipment on site.
