Job summary

Tyson Foods in the United States is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to keep production safe, efficient, and reliable. You will lead maintenance technicians, coordinate policies, oversee preventative maintenance, and minimize downtime while ensuring SQF and GMP practices are followed.

The role requires 3+ years as a maintenance technician or related, an associate degree (preferred), strong communication, and experience with PLCs, SAP, and MS Office. Weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as a maintenance technician or closely related role.
• Experience directing, evaluating and training maintenance technicians preferred.
• Hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct maintenance technicians, fostering a well-trained and motivated team.
• Assist the Maintenance Manager in directing policies and procedures while maintaining a safe, clean environment.
• Manage preventative maintenance and repairs of equipment to minimize downtime.
• Assess problems quickly to keep production running smoothly.
• Follow SQF Quality Management policies and GMP practices.
