Job summary

Rumpke Waste & Recycling in Georgetown, OH is seeking Maintenance Laborers for the Sunday-Thursday 6pm-8am shift. You’ll perform grounds upkeep, shop cleanliness, tool maintenance, and light repairs while handling job duties across related areas.

You’ll operate hand tools and assist with various lines of business as needed, interact professionally with customers, and maintain safety and housekeeping. Physical work includes lifting, outdoor work in varied conditions, and possible travel between

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude with ability to operate/maintain basic shop tools.
• Self-starter with strong work ethic and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Safety-focused mindset and adherence to safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Maintain facility grounds and surrounding areas, shop cleaning, and general housekeeping.
• Operate various hand-held tools, electrical and gas-powered equipment as needed.
• Keep equipment/tools in safe operating condition and perform routine maintenance checks.
• Pressure-wash and perform minor repairs to shop tools, bins, and containers.
• Assist with transporting, loading, and unloading parts and supplies.
• Interact professionally with internal and external customers.
• Support other lines of business and projects as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
