Job summary

Rumpke of Ohio, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Laborer to care for facility grounds and support maintenance operations. You will clean shops, operate tools, and perform minor repairs while maintaining safe conditions and professional interactions with customers.

The role requires lifting, outdoor work in varying temperatures, and flexibility to work nights or weekends as needed. CDL experience is a plus, and reading/speaking English is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with hand tools and equipment preferred.
• CDL driving experience preferred.
• Must be legally eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Maintain facility grounds and surrounding areas including shop cleaning and general housekeeping.
• Operate hand-held manual and electrical tools and equipment.
• Ensure safe operation of assigned equipment and tools according to rules.
• Pressure-wash and repair shop tools, bins, and containers as needed.
• Assist with driving, loading, and unloading shop supplies and parts.
• Interact professionally with internal and external customers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
