Job summary

Armor Health is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for night shifts in a correctional setting. You will provide holistic nursing care and support physicians, with a focus on timely, accurate examinations and treatments.

Candidates must hold an active LPN license, CPR certification, and demonstrate EMR proficiency. A Level 2 background check and drug screen are required. Armor Health offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits to its team.

CPR certification is required.
Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) is required.
Ability to pass Level 2 background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

Provide holistic nursing care to patients in a correctional setting.
Assist health care providers with exams, treatments, tests, and routine procedures.
Obtain health history, specimens, vital signs and TB skin tests.
Conduct lab tests and ensure results are delivered to the physician or RN.
Ensure patient is receiving proper care for injury or condition.
Review patient charts and report symptoms, reactions, and changes.
Coordinate transfers to medical facilities and document all contacts using POMR.
