Job summary

OrePac Building Products is seeking a Night Loader to organize the loading dock and load trucks for routes in a safe, efficient manner. This labor-intensive role involves standing for long periods and may require frequent heavy lifting.

Prior warehouse experience is helpful, but training is provided. Candidates must pass forklift certification if assigned forklift duties. This full-time evening shift offers overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• English literacy required for safety and job instructions.

• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to perform basic arithmetic.
• Capable of understanding written and verbal work directions.

Responsibilities

• Operate powered industrial equipment to move product.
• Inventory and stage/loading materials safely and securely.
• Determine loading configurations for optimal cube utilization.
• Load product onto trailers and secure to prevent movement.
• Forklift duties may be assigned and require certification.
