Job summary

PACS Group is seeking a dedicated laundry/housekeeping aide to support a nursing home by providing clean linen and maintaining sanitary conditions. You will collect laundry, label clothing, and deliver items to resident rooms while following safety procedures.

The role requires basic math, ability to read directions, and a GED or HS diploma with 1 year of experience preferred. This on-site position offers reliable hours in a healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Education and/or Experience: GED or High School Diploma.
• 1 year of experience preferred.
• Language Skills: Ability to read and understand directions related to laundry/housekeeping procedures.
• Mathematical Skills: Basic math skills.
• Reasoning Ability: Ability to problem solve and seek assistance when needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide clean linen for residents' care and comfort.
• Maintain linen in good repair and remove stained/holes.
• Collect residents' laundry daily or as needed.
• Label new resident clothing as needed.
• Sort, treat, wash, dry and fold clothing and linens.
• Deliver clean laundry to resident rooms.
• Follow sanitary processes for laundry tasks.
• Maintain inventory of laundry supplies.
• Operate equipment safely; report issues to the Administrator.
