Job summary

PACS in a nursing home environment seeks a General Laundry Attendant to maintain clean linens and support resident comfort. You will follow sanitary procedures, sort and process laundry, and deliver items to resident rooms with attention to safety.

Strong reading skills and basic math are preferred; GED or high school diploma is required and prior experience is a plus. This is a hands-on role with no supervisory duties and a focus on quality and reliability.

Qualifications

• GED or high school diploma required.
• 1 year of experience preferred.
• Ability to read and follow directions related to laundry procedures.

Responsibilities

• Make available a quantity of clean linen for residents.
• Maintain linen in good repair and remove linen with holes or stains.
• Collect laundry from residents daily or as needed.
• Sort, wash, dry and fold clothing and linens.
• Deliver clean laundry items to resident rooms and follow sanitary procedures.
