Job summary

PACS Group is hiring a Laundry Aide to support nursing home residents with clean linen and housekeeping tasks. The role requires the ability to operate industrial washers/dryers, manage linen inventory, and deliver supplies to resident rooms.

A GED or high school diploma is required, and one year of laundry/housekeeping experience is preferred. The position offers a 3pm–11:30pm schedule and pays $16 per hour.

Qualifications

• GED or high school diploma required.
• 1 year of laundry/housekeeping experience preferred.
• Ability to read and follow directions.

Responsibilities

• Make available clean linen for residents' care and comfort.
• Maintain linen in good repair and remove damaged items.
• Collect laundry from residents daily.
• Label new residents' clothing items as needed.
• Sort, treat, wash, dry and fold clothing and linens.
• Deliver clean laundry items to resident rooms.
• Follow sanitary laundry procedures.
• Maintain inventory of laundry supplies and use equipment safely.
• Report equipment issues to the Administrator.
