Job summary

Endeavor Health’s EMH Main Hospital Elmhurst is seeking a Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse for night shifts on a per diem, part-time basis. The role covers Elmhurst, IL, with rotating weekends and holidays as described in the posting.

You will provide high-quality nursing care, perform assessments, and support patient and family care within unit policies. Experience in Labor & Delivery is preferred; licensed RNs with ACLS/NRP and C-EFM credentials are highly regarded.

Qualifications

• Education: ADN or higher; if ADN, BSN must be completed within five years of start date.
• Certification: CPR, ACLS, C-EFM and NRP within specified timeframes.
• Current Illinois RN licensure is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care per Illinois RN Act and hospital policies.
• Assess patients, monitor progress, document observations, and plan care.
• Delegate care tasks and work as part of a care team.
• Role duties may vary by unit or shift.
