Job summary
Edward Elmhurst Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for Labor & Delivery on the night shift in Elmhurst, IL. The full-time role runs 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM with rotating weekends and holidays, plus a $25,000 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates.
The ideal candidate holds an accredited nursing degree with IL RN licensure, BLS, ACLS within six months, C-EFM within one year, and NRP within six months. Hospital experience in labor and delivery is preferred.
Qualifications
- Associate Degree or higher in Nursing; ADN requires BSN within 5 years of start.
- Current State of Illinois RN licensure.
- BLS through American Heart Association.
- ACLS within 6 months of start date.
- C‑EFM certification within 1 year of start date.
- NRP certification within 6 months of start date.
- Labor and delivery experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provides professional nursing care per the Illinois Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies.
- Assess patients, recognize changes, plan and evaluate care; monitor progress and document observations.
- Delegate tasks to other staff as appropriate and function as a team member to meet unit goals.
