Job summary

Qualifications

• Must meet CLIA 88 personnel requirements for high complexity testing.
• Associate’s degree in MLT program from an accredited institution required.
• Certification by a recognized certifying agency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurately performs high complexity, moderate complexity or waived testing per SOPs.
• Recognizes and corrects instrument malfunctions and records troubleshooting.
• Confirms, verifies and reports test results independently.
• Monitors results for reasonableness and critical values.
• Provides training of new employees and students.
