Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years in a clinical laboratory setting preferred.
• 1–2 years of data entry experience preferred.
• Medical background or terminology knowledge helpful.
• Fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Receive and accession specimens; verify identifiers and orders.
• Log specimens in LIS and route to appropriate departments.
• Prepare slides and kits; aliquot, concentrate and preserve specimens.
• Assist with waived CLIA tasks as allowed by training.
• Maintain temperature logs and QC records.
• Clean and maintain benches and equipment; report malfunctions.
• Stock supplies; manage inventory and reorders.
• Follow PPE and biosafety practices; support safety readiness.
• Coordinate with couriers and clinics for specimen issues.
• Answer basic status questions and assist training of new staff.
