Job summary

Antech in Sacramento, CA is seeking a Laboratory Associate for a 11:30pm–8am, Mon–Sat schedule with two days off weekly. You will prepare samples, run hematology and other panels, and review results in a fast-paced, compliance-driven lab environment.

Requirements include an Associates or B.S. in Medical Technology (or related field) with at least 1 year of hematology experience; Molecular Biology background is preferred. Target pay is $25/hour with standard benefits.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor’s in Medical Technology or related field with 1 year clinical lab hematology experience.
• Degree or experience in Molecular Biology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare samples and set up instruments for testing.
• Run hematology panels and non-PCR tests as required.
• Process and prepare samples for send-out.
• Perform quality control per QA guidelines.
• Train in specimen processing, chemistry, serology, UA, coag and parasitology.
• Enter and release results accurately.
