Job summary

Antech is seeking a Hematology Technician I to perform cytology accessioning, staining, and routine laboratory testing. You will set up instruments, run tests, read results, and release findings per SOPs; daily duties include cytology, blood typing, and quality control.

The role supports Antech's diagnostic lab operations, requiring attention to detail, accuracy, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment with extended hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 6 months hematology lab aide experience preferred.
• Science degree (2–4 years) preferred for advanced roles.
• Proficiency with lab instruments and basic data handling desired.

Responsibilities

• Build CBC/UA loads, slide preparation and staining.
• Prepare blood smears and perform re-checks as directed.
• Manage the LTP process and oversee QA procedures.
• Accession and label paperwork, slides, tubes and jars.
• Operate and verify laboratory instruments and maintain logs.
