Job summary

Antech Diagnostics in Texas is seeking a Laboratory Generalist 1 to join its team. You will receive and prepare samples, set up instruments, run tests, and release results to support pet diagnostics.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with a science-related degree preferred and prior lab experience preferred. The position is temporary for six months with an 11pm-1am start and weekend coverage.

Qualifications

• Laboratory skills and experience are required.
• General science background preferred.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Receives and prepares samples for laboratory analysis or sends out tests.
• Performs startup and required maintenance on analyzers.
• Perform all required quality control per QA guidelines.
• Train in all areas according to SOPs.
• Enter and release results.
• Participate in improving lab efficiency and cooperation.
• Participate in departmental training programs.
• Reconcile pending lists.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
