Job summary

Antech Diagnostics seeks a Laboratory Generalist 1 for a 6‑month temporary assignment in Irving, TX. The role handles sample reception, preparation, instrument setup, testing, result interpretation, and release. It requires strong lab skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work with laboratory equipment.

The position runs Monday–Saturday with two days off, 11pm–1am start, and weekend coverage. Target pay is $21.00 per hour.

• The ability to communicate information so others will understand.
• Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.

Responsibilities

• Receive and prepare samples for laboratory analysis.
• Perform startup and maintenance on analyzers.
• Perform all required quality control per QA guidelines.
• Train in SOPs and procedures.
• Enter and release results.
• Participate in improving lab efficiency and cooperation.
• Participate in departmental training.
• Reconcile pending list.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
