Job summary

SSM Health Saint Louis University Hospital is seeking a dedicated Phlebotomy Lab Support Associate to support processing, transport, and billing duties in a fast-paced pathology lab.

This night-shift role involves 10:00 PM–6:30 AM with rotating weekends/holidays, a focus on accuracy, patient care, and collaboration with pathologists and clinical teams.

A High School Diploma or GED is required; phlebotomy or medical assisting certificates are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; related certificates preferred.
• Phlebotomy or Medical Assisting certificates preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Perform phlebotomy, processing, transport, posting and billing duties.
• Assist pathologists and residents; collect and transport specimens.
• Maintain patient safety and adherence to policies.
