AdventHealth in Wesley Chapel, FL seeks a phlebotomy-oriented staff member for PRN night shifts to support laboratory operations. You will collect specimens, handle testing, and ensure accurate documentation while maintaining safety standards.

The role involves point-of-care testing, specimen processing, and collaboration with clinical staff to deliver timely results. Prior phlebotomy experience and comfort with blood handling are valued assets.

Qualificações

• English literacy required for clinical and clerical tasks.
• Experience or training in phlebotomy and specimen handling preferred.
• Understanding of laboratory safety and biospecimen transport.

Responsabilidades

• May perform point of care testing and related quality control.
• Collect blood and specimens via phlebotomy for all ages.
• Process, transport, and accession specimens to LIS/Laboratory systems.
• Maintain instrument cleanliness and quality assurance procedures.
• Assist with clerical duties and customer service within guidelines.
