Job summary

Wonder is seeking a Shift Supervisor in Midland Park, NJ to oversee kitchen operations and service quality. You will lead opening, prep, and closing duties, coordinate with chefs, and ensure safety and sanitation across BOH areas.

The role requires at least 1 year of supervisory experience in a QSR or full-service restaurant, strong communication, and availability for flexible hours including nights. Annual benefits include health coverage and a 401K plan.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year supervising in a QSR or full-service restaurant.
• Ability to lead in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be at least 18 years old and legally eligible to work in the US.
• Food Manager Certificate as required by local health departments.

Responsibilities

• Oversee opening, prep, and closing duties of the kitchen and service areas.
• Coordinate with chef leadership and other departments to ensure quality and service.
• Receive and process kitchen orders and deliveries per protocol; manage stock and ordering.
• Maintain safety, sanitation, and hygiene practices across back-of-house areas.
• Monitor kitchen costs to meet budget guidelines and ensure equipment safety.
• Lead pre/post-service briefings with FOH and BOH staff.
