Qualifications

• Prior supervisory experience in janitorial or facility services operations is required.
• Strong working knowledge of cleaning processes, safety standards, and workforce management.
• Ability to lead frontline teams with clarity, accountability, and consistency.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and follow-through.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily work assignments and schedules for janitorial staff.
• Assist with training of new and replacement staff.
• Provide ongoing coaching, performance feedback, and corrective action as needed.
• Ensure adequate staffing coverage for routine operations, periodic work, absences, and special services.
• Train staff on proper cleaning methods, equipment use, chemical handling, and customer expectations.
• Ensure compliance with Workplace safety and OSHA standards, PPE usage, and chemical safety.
• Conduct daily site inspections and routine quality audits to ensure service standards are met.
• Document safety inspections, identify hazards, and report them.
• Monitor adherence to safety protocols and safe work practices.
• Prepare and submit a weekly roll-up report covering safety, staffing, inspections, and inventory.
