Job summary

Pritchard Industries is seeking a Supervisor – Janitorial Operations to lead daily service execution, staff management, safety compliance, and performance reporting at assigned sites. You will uphold the Pritchard Operating Playbook, ensure proper staffing, and maintain high standards of professionalism and service.

Responsibilities include coaching staff, managing timekeeping and attendance, conducting site inspections, and delivering timely weekly roll-ups.

Qualifications

• Prior supervisory experience in janitorial or facility services operations.
• Strong working knowledge of cleaning processes, safety standards, and workforce management.
• Experience with timekeeping systems, inspections, and operational reporting preferred.
• Ability to lead frontline teams with clarity, accountability, and consistency.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and follow-through.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily work assignments and schedules for janitorial staff.
• Ensure time and attendance policies are strictly followed; review, validate, and submit daily/weekly timesheets accurately and on time.
• Assist with recruiting, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and training of new and replacement staff.
• Provide ongoing coaching, performance feedback, and corrective action as needed.
• Ensure adequate staffing coverage for routine operations, periodic work, absences, and special services.
• Train staff on cleaning methods, equipment use, chemical handling, and customer expectations.
• Ensure compliance with the Pritchard Operating Playbook, OSHA standards, PPE usage, chemical safety, quality standards, and inspection readiness.
• Conduct daily site inspections and routine quality audits; document safety inspections and hazards.
• Prepare and submit weekly roll-up reports covering safety, staffing trends, inspection scores, and inventory status.
• Maintain inventory of supplies, materials, and equipment; track levels and place orders as needed.
• Monitor and report incidents, near misses, injuries, and building deficiencies promptly.
