Job summary

Walmart Inc. in Kansas City, MO is seeking a Store Leadership role to drive store performance by developing teams, teaching, and actively listening to associates. You will guide in-store operations, budgeting, merchandising, and customer service initiatives to ensure a superior shopping experience.

You will hire, train, mentor hourly associates, set clear expectations, and foster a sense of belonging while upholding Walmart’s Open Door Policy and integrity standards.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ of college; OR 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience.
• Associates will be required to attend and successfully complete trainings and assessments (e.g., Academy trainings, Open Door trainings).

Responsibilities

• Leads and develops teams through training, listening to associates, and feedback.
• Drives store financial performance by reviewing PL statements, budgeting, forecasting and controlling expenses.
• Oversees merchandising, inventory flow, and in-store operations to ensure high-quality customer experiences.
• Ensures compliance with policies and ethics, upholding Walmart values and Open Door Policy.
