Job summary

Havenwyck Hospital in Auburn Hills, Michigan, part of Universal Health Services, is seeking a fully licensed Intake Clinician (RN or MSW) for a nights-only, part-time schedule.

You will obtain intake information, assess needs, coordinate with physicians, and guide admission decisions for inpatient, day treatment, or outpatient care. Requires MI license (LMSW/LMFT/LPC/RN) and relevant mental health experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of associates in nursing, bachelor of nursing, preferred, or masters of social work degrees.
• At least 1–3 years of experience providing mental health services, preferably in a psychiatric hospital.
• Current License in the State of Michigan as a Fully Licensed LMSW/LMFT/LPC or RN required.

Responsibilities

• Obtains initial intake information.
• Provides clinical assessment during intake.
• Communicates with physicians, program directors, charge nurses regarding anticipated admission.
• Maintains census board and coordinates admitting services.
• May be required to work on call.
