Job summary

UC San Diego Health at the Hillcrest campus seeks a Pharmacist I/II for inpatient services, supporting clinical, teaching, research and distribution activities. Responsibilities include pharmacokinetics, dosing, reconciliation, chemotherapy review, and precepting pharmacy students and residents.

Depending on experience, the position will be hired at Staff Pharmacy I or II, with a 100% appointment and a variable schedule to cover a 24-hour operation.

Qualifications

• Doctorate of Pharmacy degree or equivalent clinical experience.
• Registered Pharmacist - California licensure (RPH).
• Pharmacy residency or equivalent clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide and document medications and medication-related services to patients following established standards.
• Serve as preceptor to pharmacy residents and students and participate in relevant committees.

Education

Registered Pharmacist - issued by the state of California (RPH).
