Job summary

Qualifications

• Doctorate of Pharmacy degree or equivalent clinical experience.
• Registered Pharmacist - issued by the state of California (RPH).
• Pharmacy residency or equivalent clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide medications and related services to patients in inpatient setting per Department of Pharmacy standards.
• Perform profile review, pharmacokinetics, renal dosing, medication reconciliation, chemotherapy order review and entry/validation in Beacon EMR.
• Precept pharmacy students and UCSD residents; support investigational drug studies; collaborate to optimize drug therapy outcomes.
