Job summary

Atkore International is seeking a Night Production Shift Supervisor for the Injection Molding group in Dallas, TX. You will lead a team of production associates, oversee resin processing and machine setup, and drive Lean initiatives to improve Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost.

You will monitor cycle times and efficiency, coordinate with maintenance for mold changes, and mentor staff to resolve issues and sustain continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on experience in injection molding operations including machine setup, start-up, shutdown and troubleshooting.
• Understanding of resins and how to process.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, including conflict resolution.
• Continuous improvement background (GEMBA, 5S, Standard Work, Kaizen, Kanban).

Responsibilities

• Lead using the Atkore Business System and Lean Daily Management with your team to improve Safety, Quality, Delivery and Productivity.
• Supervise injection molding operations, including machine setup, start-up, shutdown, and troubleshooting.
• Monitor cycle times, material usage and machine efficiency to meet production goals.
• Ensure proper material handling to maintain quality standards.
• Implement cross-training to maximize team flexibility and coverage.
• Coach team members to identify issues, perform root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain safety, schedules, and quality specifications and coordinate with maintenance for mold changeovers.
• Manage vacation schedules and overtime; embody Atkore's values of Accountability, Teamwork, Integrity, Respect and Excellence.
