Job summary

Atkore in Dallas, TX is seeking an Injection Molding Operator I for the night shift (7:00 PM–7:00 AM). You will tend molding machines, package parts, handle basic material, and help meet daily production goals under the supervision of the Molding Manager.

The role requires reading work orders, basic math, the ability to lift 35 pounds, and a commitment to safety. Prior machine operation and forklift experience are a plus; high school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience reading and interpreting work orders.
• Basic math and counting skills.
• Ability to lift 35 pounds unassisted.
• Attention to detail, time management and organization.

• Previous machine operating and forklift experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Run various machines and equipment within the molding department.
• Process and complete paperwork, and operate a forklift as required.
• Progress towards a Molding Technician, overseeing preventative maintenance and tool/mold changes.
• Follow plant safety rules and wear proper PPE (safety glasses, ear plugs, steel-toe boots, gloves).
• Perform other duties as assigned.
