Job summary

Atkore is seeking an Injection Molding Operator I for the Day shift in Dallas, TX. You will tend molding machines, handle parts, and help meet daily production goals.

Preferred is a high school diploma; you should be able to read work orders, perform basic math, lift up to 35 pounds, and stay organized with strong time management. Forklift experience is a plus, safety gear required, and opportunities to advance toward a Molding Technician.

Qualifications

• Preferred high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience reading and interpreting work orders.
• Basic math and counting skills.
• Ability to lift 35 pounds unassisted.
• Attention to detail, time management, and organization.
• Forklift experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Run various machines and equipment within the molding department.
• Process and complete paperwork, and operate a forklift as required.
• Progress towards a Molding Technician: oversee preventative maintenance, change out tools/molds, and train associates.
• Follow plant safety rules and wear PPE.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
