Job summary

FEMA Corporation is seeking a full-time Industrial Maintenance Technician to support Third Shift production. You will report to the Industrial Maintenance Supervisor and work Monday – Thursday, 8:30 pm – 7:00 am with overtime as needed.

Ideal candidates have a basic mechanical and electrical understanding, strong attention to detail, and a proactive mindset. Growth within the department is supported through hands-on training and teamwork with Engineering and Production.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Willingness to pursue a 2-year degree in a related field.
• Basic understanding of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Basic understanding of wiring schematics and circuits.
• Strong communication skills and ability to relay information to team.
• Familiarity with precision measurement equipment (calipers, micrometers, dial indicators).
• Willingness to work on/troubleshoot CNC equipment.

Responsibilities

• Respond to line breakages; interpret PLC program logic and perform preventative maintenance on all equipment.
• Suggest permanent solutions to recurring problems as part of the repair process.
• Perform all tasks in a safe manner, adhering to lock-out/tag-out practices and being mindful of product integrity.
• Perform calibration, preventative maintenance, and technician requests on all equipment.
• Work with minimal supervision while maintaining good time management and initiative.
• Collaborate closely with Engineering and Production on problem analysis/identification and implementation of long-term solutions to issues.
