Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have a High school diploma/GED.
• Willing to pursue a 2-year degree in related field.
• Basic understanding of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Basic understanding of wiring schematics and circuits.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Respond to line breakages; interpret PLC program logic and perform preventative maintenance on all equipment
• Suggest permanent solutions to recurring problems as part of the repair process
• Perform all tasks in a safe manner, adhering to lock-out/tag-out practices and being mindful of product integrity
• Perform calibration, preventative maintenance, and technician requests on all equipment.
• Work with minimal supervision while maintaining good time management and initiative
• Collaborate closely with Engineering and Production on problem analysis/identification and implementation of long-term solutions to issues

Ideal candidates will have basic mechanical and electrical understanding, though not required to be specific to the manufacturing and automation field. Expectation of candidates is to have strong attention to detail, pride in workmanship, initiative, and desire to grow within the role and department.
