Job summary

FEMA Corporation is seeking a full-time Industrial Maintenance Technician for third shift to support production. Hours are Monday–Thursday, 8:30 pm–7:00 am with overtime as needed; report to the Industrial Maintenance Supervisor.

Qualifications

• Must have a High school diploma/GED.
• Willing to pursue a 2-year degree in related field.
• Basic understanding of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Basic understanding of wiring schematics and circuits.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Respond to line breakages; interpret PLC program logic and perform preventative maintenance on all equipment
• Suggest permanent solutions to recurring problems as part of the repair process
• Perform all tasks in a safe manner, adhering to lock-out/tag-out practices and being mindful of product integrity
• Perform calibration, preventative maintenance, and technician requests on all equipment.
• Work with minimal supervision while maintaining good time management and initiative
• Collaborate closely with Engineering and Production on problem analysis/identification and implementation of long-term solutions to issues
