Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight from equipment.
• Prepare, sweep, inspect, and clean trailers.
• Weigh and dimension shipments for classification and safety.
• Plan cube utilization and weight distribution during loading.
• Block and brace freight to prevent shifting during transport.
• Review freight bills and manifests for instructions and accuracy.
• Verify hazardous material paperwork and placarding when needed.
