Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight from equipment.
• Prepare, sweep, inspect and clean trailers before loading.
• Use safe lifting techniques when handling freight.
• Operate forklifts and other equipment to move freight.
• Weigh and dimension shipments for classification and handling.
• Plan cube utilization and weight distribution during loading.
• Inspect freight for shortages or damage and document findings.
• Review freight bills for special instructions and check manifests.
