The Respiratory Care Department at BIDMC in Boston, part of Beth Israel Lahey Health, is recruiting a Respiratory Therapist for the 7pm-7am shift. The team covers multiple units including ICUs, ED, Cath Lab, and acute care floors, with opportunities to participate in ECMO training and physician mentorship.

Ideal candidates hold an Associate degree in Respiratory Care, current licensure, and Basic Life Support, with 0–1 years of experience.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required in Respiratory Care/Cardiopulmonary Science.
• License: Respiratory Therapist License; Reg Respiratory Therapist; Basic Life Support.
• 0–1 year related work experience.
• Rotation to off-shifts and weekend hours; on-call as needed.
• Experience with computer systems and MS Office applications.

Responsabilités

• Assesses patient condition and develops/modifies the respiratory care plan.
• Serves as team leader during shifts when management is not on site.
• Attends in-services and educational meetings to maintain competence.
• Participates in performance improvement activities and applies findings.
• Develops and implements patient/family education plans.
