Zusammenfassung

Tufts Medical Center, Inc. is seeking an ECMO Specialist or Registered Respiratory Therapist (II, III, IV) to support ECMO devices and provide comprehensive respiratory care across age groups at our Boston campus.

The role requires an Associate's degree in Respiratory Care, Massachusetts licensure, and RRT certification with ECMO training. Experience with neonatal, pediatric, and adult ECMO care is preferred, with sign-on bonus and relocation support available.

Qualifikationen

• Associate's degree from an accredited Respiratory Care program.
• Licensed by the state of Massachusetts to provide respiratory care.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
• One (1) year of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• ECMO trained and familiar with ECMO procedures.

Aufgaben

• Operates the ECMO device and manages ECMO-related care for neonatal, pediatric, and adult ECMO.
• Performs respiratory care for patients with cardiopulmonary dysfunction per physician orders.
• Communicates and collaborates with care team; participates in rounds and problem-solving.
• Maintains ECMO equipment and adheres to infection control and safety policies.
• Documents therapy, assessments, and test results in patient records.
• Assists with patient transport and critical care procedures as needed.

Ausbildung

Associate's degree from an accredited Respiratory Care program

Licensed by the state of Massachusetts to provide respiratory care

Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

One (1) year of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO) trained
