Qualifications

• Must hold a valid respiratory therapy license and RT credentials.

• ECMO knowledge and ability to operate ECMO devices and support systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for the respiratory care service during shifts.
• Act as ECMO specialist; supervise ECMO procedures and device maintenance.
• Coordinate staffing, ensure patient-centered care, and uphold policy compliance.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and therapists to optimize outcomes.
• Train staff in ECMO operation, data collection, and safety protocols.
• Ensure documentation, quality metrics, and regulatory adherence.
