Job summary

Banner University Medical Center Phoenix seeks a dynamic Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) to join the Nocturnal Critical Care team. The ACNP will directly manage critical care patients, perform therapeutic and diagnostic procedures, interpret tests, prescribe medications, and participate in education and research.

New grads with critical care experience are welcome to apply as part of a collaborative team. Schedule is full-time with 3-12 hour night shifts, some rotating weekends.

Qualifications

• Current ACNP certification.
• Current CPR, BLS, and ACLS.
• Current prescribing privileges including a DEA license for controlled substances.

Responsibilities

• Nocturnal care management of critical care patients.
• Perform therapeutic and diagnostic procedures.
• Interpret diagnostic tests and prescribe medications.
• Educate, consult, and participate in research within the critical care team.
