Job summary

Aspire Cahaba is seeking a strong Night House Supervisor to join our nursing leadership team for a full-time overnight leadership role. The position offers two shift options and an alternating-week schedule to ensure steady coverage and hands-on leadership on the floor.

This role requires someone who can support staff, solve problems, maintain accountability, and keep the building running smoothly overnight, while staying connected to patients and the team.

Qualifications

• Experience in Skilled Nursing or Long-term Care preferred.
• Supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment, organization, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and clinical support throughout the facility overnight.
• Assist with staffing needs, assignments, and staff management.
• Round routinely throughout the building to support patients and employees.
• Serve as a visible, approachable resource for the nursing team.
• Complete cart compliance checks and required daily audits.

Shift Options: 11:00 PM–7:00 AM or 7:00 PM–3:00 AM

Aspire Cahaba is looking for a strong, dependable Night House Supervisor to join our nursing leadership team.

This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who knows how to support staff, solve problems, maintain accountability, and keep the building running smoothly overnight.

We're looking for a leader who is visible on the floor—not someone who manages from behind a desk. You'll round throughout the facility, support staffing and assignments, assist with education and compliance, and serve as the go-to clinical resource for our overnight team.

Schedule

• Week 1
• Sunday–Thursday
• Week 2
• Sunday, Monday, OFF Tuesday or Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
• Weekend On-Call
• Approximately every 6th weekend

What You’ll Do

• Provide leadership and clinical support throughout the facility overnight
• Assist with staffing needs, assignments, and staff management
• Round routinely throughout the building to support patients and employees
• Serve as a visible, approachable resource for the nursing team
• Complete cart compliance checks
• Complete Required Daily Audits And Ensure Appropriate Follow-up
• Assist with staff education, coaching, and reinforcement of expectations
• Identify concerns and help resolve issues before they become larger problems
• Promote accountability, teamwork, and quality patient care
• Provide emergency cart coverage when necessary (rare)
• Remain hands-on and willing to assist patients and staff when needed
• Communicate significant concerns and follow-up needs to nursing leadership

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous Skilled Nursing Or Long-term Care Experience Preferred
• Previous supervisory, Charge Nurse, or leadership experience preferred
• Familiarity With Matrix And Facility Systems Preferred
• Strong clinical judgment, organization, and communication skills
• Ability to effectively lead and support an overnight nursing team
