Schweitzer is seeking a Seasonal Housekeeper to maintain cleanliness in the Selkirk Lodge, White Pine Lodge, and Humbird Hotel public areas and staff spaces. You will stock towels/robes and handle laundry duties, while also assisting with front desk needs and guest requests as needed.

Responsibilities include cleaning bathrooms and public areas, assisting with room stripping during downtimes, stocking linen, and helping guests with luggage.

Position Summary

Responsible for cleaning within the Selkirk Lodge, White Pine Lodge, and Humbird Hotel public areas and employee work areas. Responsible for stocking spa towels/robes and washing and drying additional as needed. Responsible for cleaning up litter, emptying and cleaning trash receptacles, vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms and other duties to ensure public areas are in satisfactory condition for guests. May be required to strip rooms during downtimes or stock linen or other items in housekeeping closets/Making beds/Occasionally cleaning guest units. Greeting guests, help with luggage and any other front desk needs when asked, bring items to rooms when requested by guests. Working together with other employees as team is a must.

Essential Functions And Major Responsibilities

• Maintain a well-groomed, professional appearance, adhering to Schweitzer's dress code.
• Clean/prepare public areas including the greater lobby area, public bathrooms, pool area, storage rooms, hallways and stairwells, elevators, guest laundry, in-building parking area, front walkway area, glass and occasionally clean units to ensure guests a clean, attractive environment.
• Responsible for stocking linen and inventory closets, assisting the housekeeping staff with stripping of rooms and toting laundry.
• May escort guests to their rooms, assist with luggage and provide information occasionally.

Physical Capabilities - Walking and standing for up to 10 hours per shift with breaks provided. Lifting: frequently, up to 25 lbs.; occasionally, up to 50 lbs.

Additional - Hazards: cleaning chemicals and snow/ice.
