Job summary

Alterra Mountain Company is seeking a seasonal housekeeping professional to clean and prep lodge rooms and condos at Schweitzer, ensuring guest rooms are clean, attractive and secure.

The role requires attention to detail, the ability to stand/walk up to 8 hours and lift up to 35 lbs, with weekend and holiday shifts common. English communication is essential and prior housekeeping experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be willing to work most weekends and holidays.
• Previous housekeeping experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a well-groomed, professional appearance and adhere to dress code.
• Clean and prepare lodge rooms and condo units for occupancy using established procedures.
• Stock housekeeping carts and linen closets with required supplies.
• Complete the Housekeeping Room Assignment and report maintenance issues or shortages.
• Maintain security by keeping doors locked when not occupied.

Must be willing to work most weekends and holidays.Essential Functions and Major Responsibilities:Maintain a well-groomed, professional appearance, adhering to Schweitzer's dress codeClean and prepare accommodations for occupancy through proper application of company specified cleaning proceduresStock and maintain housekeeping carts and linen closets with products in required quantities to satisfactorily clean assigned roomsComplete the Housekeeping Room Assignment, correctly identifying the status of each assigned room and reporting any maintenance problems or product shortageMaintain security for guests and lodge/condo units by keeping all doors locked at all timesSpecific Job Skills:License/Certifications - NoneTechnical - NonePhysical Capabilities - Able to walk/stand for up to 8 hours per shift.
