Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer for an overnight patrol role at a hospital location in Memphis, TN. This full-time position focuses on unarmed security, patient and staff safety, and exceptional customer service while maintaining a visible presence on-site.

Responsibilities include conducting patrols, responding to incidents per hospital protocols, managing access points, and documenting reports.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Must meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Must be able to restrain individuals.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.
• Background check and drug screening as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors following site policies and emergency procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hospital buildings, patient care areas, parking facilities and entrances.
• Respond to incidents and alarms in a calm, professional manner per hospital protocols.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry points and verifying credentials as directed.
• Prepare clear incident reports and communicate observations to appropriate personnel.
