Cobb-Vantress is seeking a Timpson, TX-based Hatchery Worker (Pull Crew – Night Monitor) to join our Cobb Timpson Hatchery team. The role involves pulling chicks, preparing them for processing, and maintaining sanitation across hatchery areas.

The ideal candidate will have at least 12 months of consecutive work history and the ability to meet biosecurity requirements. Competitive starting wage with shift differentials and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• 12 months of consecutive work history with one employer.
• No employment gaps >6 months in the past 36 months (18 months if laid off or providing care).
• If you have been full-time student in the last 36 months, prior work history may not apply.

Responsibilities

• Meet all certification requirements for wearing a full face respirator (PFT and RFT).
• Maintain respirator certification; TM’s must stay clean shaven during shift hours.
• Pitch chickens onto belt and move hatcher baskets.
• Lift and move hatcher baskets weighing 20–25 lbs each.
• Run chick counter and manage chick boxes; monitor hatchers and setters.
• Clean and sanitize chick room and hatchery areas; ensure a clean, organized work area.
