Qualifications

• Must have at least 12 months of consecutive work history with one employer and no gaps >6 months in past 36 months.
• Be willing to sign and follow company biosecurity and animal welfare guidelines.
• Ability to perform physical duties including lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Pull and prepare chicks for processing; dispose of substandard chicks; wash and disinfect pull room.
• Clean and sanitize hatchery areas including chick room and main hall.
• Remove chicks from hatchers when ready to process; monitor hatchers and setter; evaluate chicks prior to shipments.
