Job summary

Cobb in Rose, OK is seeking team members for egg processing and hatchery duties. You will grade and transfer eggs, assist with hatchery sanitation, record data on a touchscreen, and participate in chick handling, vaccination, and deliveries to brooding houses.

The role requires standing for long periods, biosecurity compliance, and willingness to work a 1st shift schedule with holiday coverage; starting pay is $17.00 per hour with additional shift differential.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 12 months of consecutive work history with one employer and no employment gaps >6 months in the past 36 months.
• Rehire criteria with 180 days wait.
• Biosecurity and safety training and compliance required.

Responsibilities

• Grade and transfer eggs from pedigree flocks for hatch (10%).
• Record data entry of egg and chick information on touch screen tablet (10%).
• Sanitation: operate tray washer, clean setters and hatchers (20%).
• Participate in hatch process by wingbanding chicks and vaccinating (15%).
• Deliver chicks to brooding houses (15%).
• Euthanize substandard chicks by approved methods (20%).
