KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES & COMPETENCIES

• Proficient in English communication to interact effectively with guests and staff.
• Ability to operate property management systems and perform shift reports and audits as needed.
• Understanding of safety, operating, and maintenance instructions, along with ability to complete routine reports and correspondence.
• Basic math skills for handling measurements and calculations.
• Good judgment and problem-solving skills for guest issues.

ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Remain stationary and navigate the hotel environment; handle objects, tools, and controls; detect scents and sounds.
• Bend and access low areas frequently; lift/move laundry up to 25 lbs.; push/pull carts up to 50 lbs.
• Traverse heights and work in outdoor weather conditions; occasionally work in wet, humid, or chemically hazardous environments.
• Work typically in moderate to loud noise levels; may need to travel within the hotel locations.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma or GED; or 1-3 months related experience/training; or equivalent combination.

POSITION PURPOSE AND SUMMARY

The Night Guest Laundry Attendant (NGLA) is dedicated to providing excellent guest experiences, assisting overnight guests, managing laundry duties, answering phones, and ensuring safety and security procedures are followed.

KEY JOB DUTIES

• Commit to delivering exceptional guest and staff experiences.
• Assist guests with check-in/check-out processes per company standards.
• Manage laundry including stain treatment, washing, drying, and folding linens and towels.
• Process dishware in compliance with standards.
• Stock housekeeping carts and laundry areas to maintain PAR levels.
• Handle reservations, registrations, payments, and departures.
• Set up and maintain grab-and-go breakfast offerings.
• Conduct daily property inspections for cleanliness and maintenance.
• Follow all safety and security policies, reporting issues promptly.

OTHER DUTIES

• Assist with cleaning and maintenance of hotel areas as needed.
• Maintain overall hotel cleanliness.
• Perform any additional duties assigned by management.

Shift: 11:00pm to 7:00am
