Job summary

Control Risks is seeking a dedicated GSOC Analyst to join our security team. The Operator will monitor and analyze security systems to safeguard personnel, facilities, and operations on a 24/7/365 schedule.

This 6‑month engagement covers the night shift from 10:00 pm to 6:00 am, Sunday to Thursday. The role emphasizes incident response, reporting, and collaboration with stakeholders across borders to strengthen our security posture.

Qualifications

0–2 years of GSOC or security operations experience in the technology sector.
Bachelor's degree in History, Political Science, Criminal Justice, or related areas preferred.
Working knowledge of security systems, incident response protocols, and emergency management.
Demonstrated ability to handle high-pressure situations and make sound decisions under stress.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong analytical skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

Act as the initial point of contact for global security communications, managing responses to security alerts and incidents.
Monitor CCTV, access control systems, and alarm systems to detect threats and respond swiftly.
Conduct real-time assessments and coordinate appropriate responses with stakeholders.
Document all incidents with actions taken and outcomes for analysis.
Support execution of security protocols and procedures as directed by leadership.
Assist in developing security reports and intelligence products for decision-making.
Provide travel security tracking and assist in crisis management.
Engage in regular training to stay updated on security trends and technologies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve security processes and incident response.
