Job summary

Sibylline Americas is seeking a GSOC Analyst to join a 24/7 team embedded with our client in Minneapolis, MN. The role monitors security alerts and threat intelligence using various tools and maintains incident documentation.

Shifts are 11:00pm – 7:00am, Friday–Tuesday, on-site at the client’s offices. Requires weekend/holiday work and adaptability; candidates should be self-motivated, able to work independently or with a global team. Training and professional development provided.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree in security, criminal justice, or related field preferred.
• Familiarity with access control systems, CCTV monitoring systems, and other incident management/security platforms preferred.
• Requires ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays; rotating shifts and on-call responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts, surveillance feeds, and threat intelligence sources in real-time to identify potential security incidents or threats.
• Analyze security events to determine severity, origin, and potential impact on the organization or client.
• Act promptly to security incidents by initiating appropriate response procedures and coordinating with internal teams or authorities as needed.
• Document all security events, incidents, and responses in incident management systems for post-incident review.
• Provide clear, timely updates to stakeholders about ongoing security situations.
• Identify incidents requiring escalation and follow established protocols for swift action.
• Operate and maintain security tools and systems such as access controls, CCTV, intrusion detection, and alarm systems.
