In this role you will answer questions about products, promote grocery items, check freshness, stock and label merchandise, and follow food safety and safety procedures.

Qualifikationen

• Ability to handle stressful situations.
• Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, and subtraction).
• Effective communication skills.
• Any retail experience (Desirable).
• Second language (speaking, reading and/or writing) (Desirable).

• Promote trust and respect among associates.
• Create an environment that makes customers feel welcome by answering questions about products.
• Gain knowledge of products and respond to questions with suggestions.
• Recommend grocery items and inform customers of specials.
• Check product quality for freshness and review sell-by dates.
• Label, stock and inventory department merchandise and provide fresh products.
• Report ordering/shipping discrepancies to the department manager.
• Display a positive attitude and stay current with ads.
• Adhere to food safety regulations and maintain temperatures/logs.
• Reinforce safety programs and notify management of unsafe conditions.
• Inspect equipment and notify management of repairs.
• Notify management of accidents and report safety risks.
• Report any illegal activity when observed.
• Perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
